Democrats Who Align Themselves Against the Jews

We've written about Rashida Tlaib and Michigan Democrat's 2018 hopeful gubernatorial team of Gretchen Whitmer and Garlin Gilchrist. They've made their disdain for Israel known. Gilchrist has tweeted in favor of Hamas.

The Democratic party is also the party of Keith Ellison. If that weren't enough, Jew-hatred is increasing in the Democratic party. In Minnesota, Ellison's home state:

State Rep. Ilhan Omar will be the keynote speaker at an anti-Israel fundraiser focused on providing monetary support for Palestinians on the Gaza Strip.

The fundraiser is hosted by Dear Gaza, a Minneapolis-based organization that coordinates an “inspiring artist showcase” to raise money “in solidarity with the Gaza Strip.”

Omar will speak at the Dear Gaza dinner on September 22 in Minneapolis. The dinner is focused on raising funds for “urgent medical care” for Palestinians victims of “Israeli oppression.”

In addition to the dinner, the organization is set to host the fourth annual “Dear Gaza Block Party” in Minneapolis the following weekend. According to the event description, the “family friendly event host spoken word poetry, dance, interactive art making, food, live music, and more from conscious artists in solidarity with the Gaza strip.”

In addition, she's exposed her hatred on Twitter:

Shouldn't all Jews find this troublesome? Or are we being too sensitive?

Meanwhile, in Florida:

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, who is running as the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Florida, has said he is “proud and pleased” to be endorsed by groups that are supportive of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Gillum gave a shout-out to a progressive group called Dream Defenders, which has endorsed Gillum’s candidacy, during a Democratic primary debate for conducting a month-long sit-in at the Florida state capitol in 2013 to protest Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.

“I was pleased and proud to sneak food into you every night so you could eat, to stand up for you, and to stand beside you because you all have been standing in the gap on behalf of marginalized communities,” Gillum said. He is running against the staunchly pro-Israel Rep. Ron DeSantis (R, Fla.).

Are Florida's Jews paying attention? Or are progressive Jews rationalizing this because Israel has dared to re-elect Netanyahu, a (horror of horrors) conservative, who supports Donald Trump due to Trump's obvious and unapologetic pro-Israel stance?

According to some progressive Trump haters, Trump is Hitler. So why are these progressives not up in arms over Democrats who put their anti-Semitism on proud, public display? We're just curious.
