HOW ARE WE UNIQUE?
The Jewish community, like other religious and ethnic constituencies, is hardly a monolithic bloc. Instead of reflecting the diversity of this heterogeneous demographic, the mainstream press and establishment Jewish organizations dismiss and fail to represent the rich ideological spectrum within our metro-Detroit Jewish community. MJAC was created to give expression and activist leadership to the growing segment of Jewish voters who have become increasingly disaffected with the far-left, progressive agenda.
WHAT DO WE STAND FOR – AND AGAINST?
MJAC’s positions are consistent with Jewish values as well as American principles. We provide an honest forum for facts about American-Jewish issues, including Israel and its impact on World Jewry. Its members are proud of our nation’s exceptional history and believe that America is a force for good. We want to preserve our heritage and culture for future generations and therefore stand opposed to those who seek to bypass our Constitution and fundamentally transform our American and Jewish traditions.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
MJAC seeks to educate the public with innovative programming and to mobilize partners of like disposition, so that both Jews and others who share our views can make appropriate decisions. Our aim is vigilance regarding how Jewish agencies and our local, state, and national governments are using our resources. In fulfillment of our mission, an educational website has been created – www.MJAC.us – to publish both original and republished articles. Our intent is to cultivate critical thinking and catalyze action through speaker events and impactful follow-through via media coverage, letters-to-the-editor, outreach to our own religious and cultural institutions, as well as to other coalitions sharing our objectives.
